Keeping Muhlenberg at the top in the Centennial Conference is not easy. We need the financial support of those passionate about Muhlenberg athletics to do it. The tournament is a fun way to give back to the sports programs that have provided student-athletes with qualities that will last a lifetime. When you make a gift during Mule Madness you not only help your team, you impact the quality of the athletic experience for student-athletes in every sport. Participation determines the winning team. Step Up, make a gift and lead your team to the championship!
The winning team will be named champions for the 2015-2016 season, own bragging rights for the year and have their name engraved on the Mule Madness trophy in Memorial Hall.
Making a gift as a senior is a great way to give back to the team you've loved to play on. It will increase your team's participation and count as your senior class gift. Plus, if all senior athletes on a team make a gift to Mule Madness, the team will earn additional dollars through the D-III Challenge, as well as a pizza party generously sponsored by Director of Athletics Corey Goff.
Of course! When you make your gift online, you will be asked to select from a drop-down box a team you wish to support. If you make a gift by mail, please note the designation of your gift on the check.
Mule Madness kicks off Monday, March 14 and continues through Friday, March 18.
This is a cumulative participation challenge. The team with the overall highest participation at the end of the competition will be named the winner. During Mule Madness points are earned:
- Touchdown (2 points) first time or current donors who make a gift of $100 or more (alumni athletes, student-athletes or parents of current athletes)
- Slam Dunk (1 point) first time or current donors who make a gift under $100 (alumni athletes, student-athletes and parents of current athletes)
- Goal (1 point) Make a gift to any sport (Four gifts from friends of Muhlenberg)

Yes! A gift made by a student-athlete, alumni athlete or parent of a current student athlete will count against the base for each team.
We are counting all prior gifts this fund year (July 1, 2015-March 13, 2016). Student-athletes, alumni athletes, head coaches and parents of current student-athletes who have already made a gift to the College were grandfathered in and reflected in the donor counts at the outset of the competition.
Encourage others to make a gift and share the rankings on all of your social networks. If you’re an alumnus be sure to join ‘Berg Alumni on Facebook to follow the competition and repost messages.
